‘Residential Forest I + II + III’ contains 121 unique ambiences, recorded in Germany during summer, August 2021, spring, in April 2022 and January, 2023. Out of 64 hours of ambiences I edited the best parts and collected them to a 13 GB time travel in sound, from afternoon to evening, through the night, morning and mid day hours in a residential forest area.
For recording as well the dead silence during the night I chose an extreme low noise matched pair of Rode NT 1A and the Tascam HD-P1.

In Hydroelectric Power, witness the power of water in this collection of recordings captured at historic hydropower plants and massive concrete dams in the United States.
In the American West, water scarcity and allocation are hot topic issues. Gain access inside a working powerhouse along the Boise River as one of three generators, producing over 1,000–kilowatts of power, crank up from a cold start in advance of the irrigation season. Get hit in the face with spray from Shoshone Falls, a waterfall taller than Niagara Falls, during a high water event. Stand 100 yards downstream from the massive Bonneville Lock and Dam along the Columbia River in Oregon as 3,487 Kgal/sec rush past, generating 624 megawatts of power. Listen to the thunderous sound of Gorge Dam along the Cuyahoga River. Yes, the river that caught fire. This decommissioned 60-foot tall, 400-foot-wide dam has sat idle for over 50 years. Plans are in the works to remove it, thereby freeing up the flow of the snaking river from its headwaters to Lake Erie.
Admittedly, waterfalls and dams recorded up close can sometimes sound a lot like white noise. Yet there are distinctions. In Hydroelectric Power, each sound takes on the character of its environment, making it unique to that space and time.
These recordings, captured in pristine 24-bit/96 kHz quality by field recordist Richard Alan Hannon, will complement your documentary, film and game design needs until, unfortunately, the rivers run dry. Seamless loops have been meticulously crafted from sounds that allow for it. Providing more opportunities to utilize these sounds in your projects.

Inside is an assortment of rumbles, risers, impacts, sustains, plucks, drones and tones intended for epic and menacing moments.
Subsonic frequencies as low as 10 Hz were captured from sounds of various instruments (a waterphone, kalimba, harmonica, drum, thunder machine, violin and guitar). Our Audio Craftsmen have manipulated these recording to accentuate the rich, low resonances of each instrument, producing an atmospheric, brooding quality to each collection.
Because of its intense low frequency energy, this bundle is perfect for sci-fi, horror and thriller projects across Film, TV and Game productions.
All sounds included were carefully captured and meticulously edited for maximum sonic quality, enabling you to drop each sample into your projects with no need for further enhancement or modification.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
