Quadcopter Flight

  • Quadcopters / Drone Sounds Quadcopter Flight Play Track 148 sounds included, 61 mins total $60

‘Quadcopter Flight’ shows off these buzzing beasts from near and far in both quiet exterior locations and the studio.

Featuring a large quadcopter and two minis, these machines were captured as they performed all possible actions, such as take-offs, flybys, revs, and sustained flight.

The library also has foley, a few crashes, and recordings from contact mics that were attached to the two smaller quads for sounds of high-tech servo/rotor sounds that can be used for sci-fi projects containing robots, sliding doors, and more.

    Quadcopters recorded:

    • Dromida Kodo II – Interior
    • Eachine H8S – Interior
    • Yuneec Typhoon G – Exterior
    • Yuneec Typhoon G – Interior

'Quadcopter Flight' by Audio Shade has the sounds of everyone's favorite cameraman/racer/recreational activity. Featuring the Dromida Kodo II, Eachine H8S, Yuneec Typhoon G and Yuneec Typhoon G, this library has plenty of interior and exterior takes of these machines as they dominate the skies. You'll find take-offs, flybys, revs and sustained flight, and even foley, a few crashes and contact mic recordings that sound like high-tech servos and rotors. If you need sounds of these rotorcrafts, this is the one for you.

Groats Part 1

  • Foley Sound Effects Groats Part 1 Play Track 378 sounds included, 14 mins total $22

This sound library gets you the sounds of groats and grains, and includes the rustling, crunching, breaking, rolling, rattling, trickling, pouring sounds of sugar, peas, pearl barley and macaroni. It’s the 1st installment in a larger series called Grains. There are 378 high quality sounds included, recorded and designed in 24 Bit/96 kHz, using an Oktava 012, DBX-386, Digi-003 and Reaper.

Just like animators, sound designers love particles. Though 'Groats Part 1' may not be granular in terms of synthesis, it's quite granular in the literal sense. Created by Alexander Ahura, this SFX library has sounds of grains and groats (which are the 'as-is' type of whole oats) as they rustle, crunch, break, roll, rattle, and trickle onto plywood, cardboard, glass, fabric, and more. It also includes sounds of pouring sugar, peas, barley and macaroni, too. If you like this library, make sure you stay tuned for part 2!

'Whooshes & Impacts 2' by SoundBits is their second installment of these sounds of action. This library has over 600 sci-fi and fantasy hits and whooshes, featuring low massive stuttering, glitchy explosions, plasmic ships zipping by, metallic crashes, missiles and astroids, and passbys that sound like if Tatooine had choppers and jets. Plus, all sounds are free of reverb, allowing them to be perfectly treated for your scenes. For stylistic whooshes and organic metal hits, this library will give your sound design some punch.

Industrial Exteriors I

  • UCS-compliant, ambient recordings from various industrial sites, including the port of Aarhus with its bulk cargo and container terminals. Most of the sounds are quite generic though, and could be used in many different contexts. Some recordings are teeming with activity, while others feature deserted, yet humming and droning, industrial landscapes. Lots of HVAC with fans and pumps. Containers are moved, gravel is unloaded, engines are running. Very little wind, and hardly any legible speech. A few of the sounds are cut as seamless loops.

Most of the sounds were originally recorded with a Sennheiser MKH60/30 M/S setup. A few sounds appear in both mono and stereo versions, where the stereo version are X/Y derived from the M/S source files and the mono versions are simply the Mid channel. I did this, because most people seem to prefer X/Y files for post-work, rather than M/S – but a down-mix of X/Y to mono would be inferior to using the original Mid-mic signal. 4 of the sounds were recorded with a quasi binaural setup. All sounds were captured in Aarhus, Denmark.

'Industrial Exteriors I' by hzandbits features various industrial sites around the harbors of Denmark's Aarhus. In this library you'll find sounds of trucks and forklifts moving containers and dumping gravel, revving HVAC fans, cycling hydraulic systems, tugboats and ships idling in the ports, and more. There are also looping sounds and a few quasi-binaural sounds of passing trucks and forklifts. For a mix industrial sounds that is both distinctly harborish and flexibly generic, check out this library.
