ROOMTONE is an experimental short film about the relationship between silence, ambience and room tone as a production element. It’s both a ‘found object’ and homage to location sound.
The film reflects on ambient noise as the texture of our lives. It’s about scenes we weren’t meant to see and what happens in the margins. Created for the insider, it also pokes fun at indie film aesthetics.
